An AI Short Thanksgiving Story.

Image
A Short Story of Thanksgiving: The Gift of Togetherness In the heart of a small New England town, a gentle chill settled in the air as November rolled in, casting a warm hue across the changing leaves. The scent of cinnamon and nutmeg filled the homes, mingling with the laughter and chatter of families as they prepared for the most cherished holiday of the year—Thanksgiving. In the quaint Williams home, preparations were in full swing. Sarah, the eldest of three siblings, was busy chopping vegetables for the stuffing, her hands moving expertly as her mind wandered. She thought back to the Thanksgiving dinners of her childhood, where the laughter of her parents and the antics of her younger brother, Jake, and sister, Lily, formed a comforting backdrop to the feast. This year felt different. Their father had been laid off from his job a few months earlier, and the family was struggling to make ends meet. It was one of those moments when the true spirit of Thanksgiving would be test...

A day in the life

Image
Hello all !!! So I made the mistake of trying a live post today.... why was it a mistake you may ask... Well the age old phrase don't work with animals, technology and academics from universities, proved to be true. It started to go wrong when i realised I did not have enough follows to go live from the store page  So firstly, if anyone would like to add to my followers it would really help. Then my work around only let me use my personal profile. Of course first time i went live -i didn't by a mistake. Second time i did, but the video is somehow locked down such that i can't seem to repost. Next time i will have to give it a pre-examination before trying. So I tried showing how we make our celebrate the day tees. Not too complicated, but a showcase for AI randomness. Other than that I have found how to work on my tiktok shop - so those that follow there will note a few initial changes. I would say I think there are some good offers on there, but you haven't long to cl...

AI and Fashion

Image
Technology is showing up in a variety of ways. It is exciting to be at the front end of it. Interestingly, not to blow my own trumpet, but my background in physics and engineering puts me in an excellent position to understand and drive ideas forwards. In terms of AI, I think it is a reactive tool in the "arsenal". By this i mean that it can generate an output very quickly. This output may not be exactly what you expect, so by this it actually brings new ideas, design and concepts to the table. In fact the average time to generate an image is 1-2 seconds. It probably takes longer to compose the text to generate the image. For example you can generate images as events unfold in sporting events or real life situations. You can well imagine these outputting on clothes. In fact its not hard to imagine a live information feed. This is probably possible now. It in reality is the fusion of AI, Fashion and display tech. Not a million miles away from your smart phone. As with anythin...

AI Overheats ?

The story of AI chips overheating primarily revolves around Nvidia's latest Blackwell AI chips. These chips, which were launched earlier this year, have been experiencing overheating issues when placed in server configurations designed to support up to 72 units. This overheating problem has raised concerns among major cloud service consumers like Meta Platforms, Google, and Microsoft. Nvidia has been working to redesign the server racks to address the overheating issues, but these modifications have led to delays in the deployment schedules of their clients. The Blackwell chips are designed to be significantly faster than previous versions, capable of running AI tasks up to 30 times quicker. However, the increased power and performance demands have contributed to the overheating problems. Nvidia has stated that such engineering iterations are normal and expected, and they are working closely with cloud service providers to resolve the issues. Despite the challenges, Nvidia remain...

What is going on !!

16th Nov 2024 I have to say I find all this as therapy in some sense. If only life was so easy. So what have  I been up to. 1. Our shop page https://alchemiseinnovation.launchcart.store/shop is undergoing a bit of a update. There are constraints on updating which down to how the site works. I would appreciate some feedback on how it works for people. 2. a few simple designs today

AI and Remembrance Day

Image
Firstly, let me offer my thoughts and support on Remembrance Day. discussing how AI might be linked to today ....   The links between artificial intelligence (AI) and Remembrance Day can be explored through various dimensions, including the commemoration of veterans, the preservation of history, and the enhancement of educational initiatives. Here are some key points to consider: Preserving History : AI can be utilized to digitize and preserve historical records related to wars, conflicts, and veterans. This includes the conversion of documents, photographs, and oral histories into digital formats, making them more accessible to researchers and the public. Virtual Memorials : AI technology can be used to create virtual memorials or immersive experiences that allow individuals to engage with the past. For instance, virtual reality (VR) experiences can transport users to historical sites or events, providing them with a deeper understanding of the sacrifices made by veterans. Data An...

Join me as we delve into the history, science, and cultural significance of fireworks. https://alchemiseinnovation.launchcart.store/shop/bonfire A Brief History of Fireworks The origins of fireworks date back to ancient China during the Tang Dynasty (618–907 AD). Legend states that a cook accidently mixed together saltpeter, charcoal, and sulfur, thereby creating the first “firecracker.” These early fireworks were used in religious ceremonies and festivals to ward off evil spirits. By the 13th century, Chinese inventions made their way to Europe, resulting in the development of aerial ...
