 AI has indeed made significant strides in the field of photography, offering tools that can generate and enhance images with impressive realism. However, this doesn't mean that photographers will become obsolete. Instead, AI is likely to redefine the role of photographers rather than replace them.

Here are a few reasons why photographers will still be needed:
- Creativity and Vision: AI can generate images based on data, but it lacks the creative vision and personal touch that human photographers bring to their work. The ability to capture unique moments, emotions, and perspectives is something inherently human.

  Writing here as the founder of Alchemise Innovation, my background was science and technology based. However, in recent times I felt it was time for a change. I didn't want to be part of a larger company and get swallowed up in politics I felt were wrong. Also, I realised that now was probably my last opportunity to at least try my own business. Having spent the last 5 years looking at spin out opportunities, and with a desire to keep myself relevant in the science and technology sector, I looked for options.
