2025 - What does it mean for AI?

 Happy New Year from the blog.


Now seems like a perfect time to try predict 2025 and AI. What it will mean ?


In general, myself as a Scientist and Company Owner, think that obviously there will be rapid developments in the field. I suspect this will include


  • increased knowledge and ability by AI to deliver results
  • Easier interaction by speech, coupled with this being integrated into more items
  • Integration with tech to be more conscious with the environment
  • Ability to retain learning better so be more life like
  • bringing together of AI concepts to make a singular access point able to perform more tasks

What will it mean for people working. Hopefully, it will mean people can be more efficient. For some jobs if the AI can simulate outcomes then it can streamline processes. In this type of scenario, data is king. The more data you have, the more it can analyse and the more it can predict. I suspect at some point this will revolutionise research, development and manufacture. It will be more about people thinking rather than doing. Doing is always the killer in research, as it needs "robotic" control and understanding of anything which varies. I could go on one of my rants about the poor UK university systems training the next generation in this, but it is pointless. I suspect the universities if they do not change will be gone within this century. More of that another day.

in terms of tshirts - i think the interface design process will become very different, and also much more powerful. Think JARVIS and iron man!! This is however a more in depth discussion for another day !

  Writing here as the founder of Alchemise Innovation, my background was science and technology based. However, in recent times I felt it was time for a change. I didn't want to be part of a larger company and get swallowed up in politics I felt were wrong. Also, I realised that now was probably my last opportunity to at least try my own business.
